Week 1 – Mixed Bag: Day 1 – Gallimaufry (n)

At the incipience, in order to allow myself the flexibility to finesse my plan for this naughty vocab building blog, I have set this week’s theme as ‘Mixed Bag’.   Just like a bag of M&M’s, you will get a random mix of words for learning without a meaningful overarching theme to unifying the daily words for this week.

Handy for Chefs with a Ladle and an Imagination:

Maria moaned an unintelligible gallimaufry of yeahs, yeses, oohs, and aahs on being larruped by a ladle on her punani.

Gallimaufry (n)

  1. hodgepodge, jumble; confused medley
  2. a ragout or hash (dish of diced or chopped meat and often vegetables cooked in a gravy)

Larrup (v)

  1. to beat, thrash or flog

Ladle (n)

  1. a long-handled utensil with a cup-shaped bowl for dipping or conveying liquids.

Punani (n)

  1. (slang) vagina or vulva

  1. Having read this I believed it was very enlightening.
I appreciate you spending some time and effort to put this
informative article together. I once again find myself personally spending way
too much time both reading and leaving comments. But so what,
    it was still worthwhile!
